The Lowara building, sited next to the company’s pre-existing factory, was conceived as a single space, 150m long and 15m wide.
The building is characterized by its large and light curving roof that on its low side frames views across surrounding fields, and on its high side screens the wall of the adjacent factory.
A naturally lit corridor between the new offices and the factory brings light into the building and acts as acoustic isolation from the factory.
